About
With a PhD in energy systems, I support public institutions and infrastructure stakeholders in making strategic decisions in electricity and gas systems. My work combines rigorous system analysis, grid engineering expertise, and regulatory feasibility — particularly in matters of security of supply, grid integration, network expansion, and market design.
Since 2021, I have been working at Bundesnetzagentur, the German Federal Network Agency, at the interface of system operation, crisis preparedness, and regulatory design. I assess technical bottlenecks in distribution and transmission networks, evaluate expansion requirements and flexibility options, and translate complex system dynamics into robust decision support for policy and regulatory action.
